Similar to class perks, faction/race/species perks allow the player selecting perks from perk groups, represented usually as drop-down menu. Faction perks engage wider themes that apply to majority of character classes(it would be a mistakes to add perks useful to only one class instead of moving them to class perks). Example of such a perk: "Elves gain 0.5 extra dexterity per level" where dexterity is useful as damage modifier, blocking and speed multiplier.
