atmospheric-object

atmospheric objects are non-interactive objects that enhance the atmosphere of a level. They should not consume excessive resources or be especially dynamic.
Types by function:
Sounds:
A.Invisible sound spawner: produces area sounds(such as frogs/cicadas/birds)
B.Modifies local sounds: echo, reverb, effects.Usually invisible.
Light:
A.Provide/Modifies illumination: e.g. torch, lamp, mystery lights,etc.
B.Changes visibility by obscuring something: fog, cloud,etc(don't overuse fog)
Lore&culture:
A.Provides a lore element:e.g. a statue.
B.Adds detail to functional objects or buildings: Usually integrated with other objects.e.g. a flagpole rotating based on wind direction.
Obstable:
A.Terrain-integrated obstacle: small lakes, stones,trees.
B.Ruins,barriers,walls that border playing areas.
